Trump suffers from the irony that his "just talk" is a confession to bragging about things that never happened --- the hallmark of the loser --- while his excuse is that his safe space was violated. This is telling.

If hyperbole without consequence is now the meaning of speaking truth to power, one wonders if "conservatives" would be so glib were he seeking a role of responsibility, say appointment as Federal Reserve chairman. Hypocrisy may yet be possible.
